Earlier today CyberPowerPC introduced its incarnation of the Steam Machine from Valve, running the SteamOS flavor of Linux and taking aim at shaking up the gaming market. It isn't the only company making the big reveal at CES, with iBuyPower the latest to show off its wares. The SBX Steam Machine will deliver a 60 frames per second gaming experience with Intel and AMD CPU options combined with an AMD GPU. Co-founder and VP Darren Su said, "What we really wanted to do was make an impact in the living room. We wanted to really show the world that the power of desktop gaming machine can be experienced in the living room in a totally seamless way." The SBX Steam Machine will be available later this year with a Steam controller at an MSRP of $499 in matte black or white.
