Starting January 6, 2014, ABC will start to limit television shows being available the day after they air to paid television subscribers. At this point in time, ABC shows are available to stream on the ABC website the day after they air on television. Once the change takes place, only paid television subscribers, such as cable customers, will be able to view ABC shows the day after they air. If an individual who does not subscribe to paid television wants to access ABC shows after they air, they will have to wait a full week in order to view the shows for free. The exception to this new rule is Hulu Plus, which will still allow customers to access ABC shows one day after they air.
