After purchasing webOS nearly a year ago, LG Electronics is now using the investment to produce a smart television capable of multi-tasking. The new television will boast webOS, which is the first television ever to do so, and incorporate a dual-core processor clocked at 2.2GHz along with 1.5GB of RAM. As of now, no other details about the television are known. LG is on track with its plans to reveal the webOS-powered television at CES early next year. Current LG smart televisions are not used much in terms of their multimedia capability, but LG is hoping that consumers will make full use of the new features available to them within the upcoming webOS television.
