Android 4.4.2 KitKat is now coming to select Motorola G devices, a budget-friendly smartphone meant for the mid-range market. Although the device launched last month, KitKat was not factory installed on them. Owners of the Motorola G who purchase their smartphone through Amazon or the Motorola website within the United States are able to download the update now. Customers who purchased their Motorola G through carriers and other markets outside of the United States will be receiving the update soon. In addition to the device updating to Android 4.4.2, Motorola is pushing a camera update for the device too, which enables tap to focus and expose, locked exposure for panoramas, as well as additional language support.
