Although the new Mac Pro computer was revealed by Apple earlier this year in June, the company is set to launch the new desktop machine tomorrow. Apple claims that the new computer, making use of two AMD FirePro GPUs, increases graphics performance by up to eight times that of previous generation hardware. The Mac Pro also uses much less space compared to older Mac Pro hardware, as the cylindrical design reduces the total volume of the machine by over 87 percent. Starting at a price point of $2,999, the Mac Pro is set to include a 3.7 GHz quad-core Xeon E5 processor that supports Turbo Boost technology, a FirePro D300 GPU, 12GB of RAM, and 256GB of storage. Optional upgrades, along with various accessories, can be added by configuring the computer within the Apple Store upon release.
