The OC Main Event was held at the recent Intel Developer Forum in San Francisco and was sponsored by Corsair, ASUS, and Intel. A team of overclockers made up of Ronaldo Bussali (Rbuass), Roy Komansilan (Dumo), Charles Wirth (Fugger), Ian Graham Parry (8-Pack), and Mike Gorius (Gunslinger) was able to break a total of five overclocking world records. The records were set using Corsair memory, ASUS motherboards, and Intel i7 Extreme Ivy Bridge-E processors across several different benchmarks. Records were broken in 3DMark 11 in the entry, performance, and Firestrike tests, the Cinebench 6-core test, and a quad channel memory speed of 3900MHz.
