At the beginning of last year, Cooler Master launched the Elite 120 Advanced case, which allowed for a ton of hardware to fit into a mini-ITX format. Now it's time for the successor, as the Elite 130 was announced earlier that effectively ups the ante on any and everything. It's still a mini-ITX case, just now the front panel is made of mesh instead of being solid, there are two USB 3.0 ports and one USB 2.0 port (plus audio in/out), and somehow five hard drives/solid state drives can now fit inside. Storage options are either: one optical drive, two HDDs, and one SSD; three HDDs and one SSD; two HDDs and three SSDs; or one HDD and four SSDs. Of course there's still room for full size power supplies, video cards up to 13.5" in length (hello GTX 690 or HD 7990), and even a 120mm watercooling radiator. A 120mm fan in the front and an 80mm fan on the side are included.
The Cooler Master Elite 130 is available now from your favorite (r)etailers, although no price was mentioned.
