Cooler Master Announces New Laptop Cooler

Evercool recently released a new laptop cooler, and now it is Cooler Master's turn. The company is known for everything from cabinets to CPU coolers to PSUs and the list goes on. Now it is time for a laptop cooler, and Cooler Master promises to keep things cool.

The SF-17 is the latest addition to the company's line of Strike Force (SF) laptop coolers, and it is based on the award winning SF-19 USB 3.0. The SF-17 is built to accommodate up to 19 inch laptops, which in turn means that a large fan is needed to keep the laptop within reasonable temperatures. Cooler Master therefore chose a 180 mm turbine fan to ensure that the laptop will keep its cool during the heat of the battle. The fan speed can be adjusted to suit the user's needs. Since the potential user can vary a lot in both size and shape, the SF-17 can be adjusted in height, so that the user can comfortably use the laptop for hours without any wrist pain. And since this laptop cooler is intended for gamers on the go, it has a handle to ease transportation.

Price and availability varies based on region, and it is unfortunately only meant for the U.S. and Canada.
