DuckTales: Remastered Coming to PC this Summer!

I'm an 80s kid, so the animated television series DuckTales holds a special place in my heart. It also means I was an NES kid and I have fond memories of the DuckTales video game as well; a 2D action-platformer that was both a commercial and critical success. At PAX East 2013, Capcom announced that it was bringing back the classic with a high-definition remake entitled DuckTales: Remastered. At the time, the game was only announced for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and Wii U. I am happy to report that a Capcom employee has confirmed DuckTales: Remastered is coming to the PC via digital download!

Priced at $14.99, the PC version is expected to arrive around the same time as the console versions, which was originally "this Summer" and hasn't seemed to change. In addition to the reveal trailer below, IGN published a video providing a side-by-side comparison of the Amazon level, which is not only great for seeing the improved 2.5D visuals, but also provides you young'ns with a taste of the original. DuckTales, woo-oo!

I will admit I watched Ducktales, when I was a kid. However buying the game for myself I think that's out for me its not something that I would enjoy playing at my age. On another note who else thinks that Andrew dances too the theme song LMAO.

Perhaps they're hoping you, and others of your generation, will buy it for your kids? Also, I do not think that Andrew dances to the song because I don't want to accidentally imagine it.

I do not dance, but I absolutely sing along! As for the game, I enjoy the side-scrolling platformer genre, so even with my fondness for the cartoon aside, the gameplay still appeals to me. And it's been so long since I've played the original, it will probably feel fresh.
