The other day ROCCAT introduced some new colors for the Kone Pure mouse, and today it's bringing an optical version to the lineup. Dubbed the Kone Pure Optical Core Performance Gaming Mouse, it features a 4000DPI Pro-Optic (R3) sensor that is users can set to 400, 800, 1600, or 4000DPI. It includes much of the other Kone Pure features, like seven buttons, Omron switches, onboard memory to store macros, a 32-bit Turbo Core V2 processor, and East-Shift[+]. Plus there's the customizable lighting and effects that make use of the 16.8 million color lighting system and a soft-touch surface to keep your hand comfortable during long gaming sessions.
No release date or price was given for the Kone Pure Optical mouse. ROCCAT also wants everyone to know the release candidate for its Power-Grid software is being unveiled at Computex, and the Ryos MK Pro Mechanical Gaming Keyboard is very nearly ready to launch. Mac owners are also being taken care of, as the Kone XTD mouse now has a Mac OSX driver.
