Lenovo has introduced a new member to its ThinkPad range of laptops, the T431, to enable the range to continue to be competitive in today's market. The T431 maintains the traditional look of Lenovo's ThinkPad series, but weighs just 1.36kg and is just over 2cm thick. The laptop has maintained many traditional features of the ThinkPad series such as the red tracker button integrated into the keyboard, but does not integrate newer technologies such as touch screens.
The laptops are powered by 3rd generation Intel Core i5 or i7 processors, and can feature up to 12GB of RAM. As well as this there are many other options, such as support for a 256GB SSD or 1TB HDD, as well as USB 3.0 and mini-DisplayPort connectivity. The laptops can also be preinstalled with either the Windows 7 or Windows 8 operating systems, and boasts up-to a nine hour battery life, according to Lenovo's tests.
