UNIGINE is the company behind the very popular Heaven benchmark that is used for GPU stress testing, and it has now announced the release of an all new benchmark entitled Valley. Lead technical artist Andrey Kushner said, "Living in Siberia, we wanted to show how beautiful the nature is here. It is full of contrasts, and flowers can grow through the deadfall right next to brutal mountains." The benchmark is compatible with Windows, Mac OS X, and Linux and features 64,000,000 square meters of terrain to explore. It is available with a free version, an advanced version for $19.95, and a pro version for $495 with each version offering an increasing array of features.
