Google is expected to announce the successor to the Nexus 7 Android tablet at some time in May. It is also expected that Google will once again work with Asustek to create the new device. Engineering samples released by Google point to the new tablets having the same price tags of $199 for the less powerful unit and $249 for the beefier tablet. Also included in the upgrade will be a 1080p screen with a thinner border. An upgraded version of Jelly Bean will provide the brains of the operation.
