Mozilla is planning to work with Spanish company Geeksphone to create developer phones for the upcoming Firefox OS. A pair of phones will be created, each targeted at a different user base. The Keon is aimed at budget users and will provide plenty of basic functionality to allow for testing and use of apps. It has a 3.5" touch screen, a 1GHz Snapdragon S1 processor from Qualcomm, and a 3MP camera. The Peak features more functionality and more powerful hardware. This phone features a 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S4, a pair of cameras, and a 4.3" touch screen. Both are equipped with HSPA/GSM radios, Wi-Fi, and MicroSD slots. Pricing hasn't been set on either device and Mozilla has only said that the Keon will be available sometime next month.
