Kingston Technology announced its new HyperX 10th Anniversary Edition Memory kits at the CES 2013 show this week. The modules feature a silver heat spreader and a low-profile design to help the memory fit under oversized heatsinks found in today's performance rigs. The silver heat spreader is not just for looks though, as it offers enhanced thermal dissipation to ensure long-term stability and reliability. Geared toward enthusiasts and overclockers, the HyperX 10th Anniversary Edition Memory is Intel XMP ready and comes in frequencies up to 2400MHz and the kits are available in 8GB to 32GB capacities. The memory is backed by Kingston's lifetime warranty and will be available as DDR3 only.
Kingston also announced the finale of its StarCraft II tournament in honor of the 10-year anniversary of the HyperX product line will be held during CES 2013, with the top four winners from the online tournament being joined by two professional gamers to compete for one of four cash prizes totaling $15,000 and become the first-ever HyperX Champion.
