Project Fiona is indeed going to become a reality, but Razer hasn't disclosed any specific hardware details for its PC-centric gaming tablet. That is, until today. Compared to most tablets, Fiona will be sold at a premium with a price ranging between US$1299-US$1499. The 10.1-inch Windows 8-based tablet will also be physically heavier and thicker, estimated to be double than that of an iPad. The CPU will be either an Intel Core i5 or i7, and the graphics has been described as a mid tier discrete GPU, which Razer says will be capable of playing hardcore PC games at Medium settings. Of course, this wouldn't be a Razer tablet without the necessary extras, so the Fiona comes with detachable/removable controllers for that extra precision required for PC gaming. There's no word yet on the release date, so anyone excited to play Witcher 2 on Project Fiona may have to wait a bit longer for that chance. Then there's the matter of the estimated price: it's a little too hard to swallow for some PC gamers. Still, this endeavor is no small feat for Razer, as Project Fiona represents a solid step for PC gaming towards greater mobile accessibility.
