Samsung have updated the Galaxy S3 with some of the functions formerly reserved for the Galaxy Note series. The update, referred to by Samsung as the 'Premium Suite', includes the popular split-screen feature that enables two apps to be viewed at once, a custom lock screen with Facebook integration, a smart homepage feature called 'Page Buddy', and many more new features.

Just before you run off to update your phone, it's worth remembering that the upgrade will be rolled out on a network-by-network basis like most other Android updates. For this reason, you are unlikely to receive the update immediately, but the update should be rolling out to a Galaxy S3 near you in the not-too-distant future.
