OCZ is expanding its lineup of solid state drives with the addition of the Vector Series. Featuring an Indilinx Barefoot 3 controller, these SATA 3 drives will provide plenty of speed and performance for anyone looking to upgrade their storage. The Barefoot 3 controller was developed by OCZ from the ground up, and provides tremendous sustained disk access and up to 100,000 input/output operations per second. Read and write speeds up to 550MB/s and 530MB/s, respectively, are achievable and the management capabilities of the Barefoot 3 will allow for years of heavy use without any NAND flash degradation. The Vector Series will be available in capacities of 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB.
