It's been over two months since we last got an official unveiling of PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale roster additions, but there were still quite a few fan favorites that were curiously absent from the game. Though the November 20th launch roster is remaining unchanged, Lead Game Designer Seth Killian announced that two new characters would be added via DLC: Gravity Rush's Kat and Starhawk's Emmett Graves. Unfortunately neither character is ready to be shown off, but Killian does mention that Kat will be utilizing her gravity-altering abilities and Emmett will utilize Starhawk's "Build a Battle" system to call down help from the sky. In addition, both will have full story modes.
But wait! The news gets even better – both DLC characters will be free to everyone for the first two weeks after they're released. As long as you claim them within the two-week window, they are yours forever! Hopefully this trend continues with future DLC releases as well. I know many Sony fans are eagerly awaiting Crash and Spyro announcements.
