Lenovo has today announced the IdeaCenter Q190, a powerful HTPC featuring a third generation Intel Ivy Bridge i3 processor, a 1TB hard drive with a 24GB SSD cache, and 8GB RAM. The Q190 will be very small; some sources quote a total device width of 22mm although Lenovo has not yet listed the full dimensions. The system can be outfitted with the Windows 8 OS and boasts a 7.1 channel audio output, full HD graphics, as well as the option of a Blu-ray drive.
The tiny device also packs in Ethernet connectivity, HDMI output (as well as legacy support via VGA), USB 3.0, and a card reader. The device is expected to be released around January 2013 and could be yours for as little as $349. As well as this, Lenovo has also announced several new all-in-one PCs, ranging from the $349 Lenovo C240 with an 18.5” touchscreen to the $549 C540 with a 23” touchscreen. Lenovo has certainly been working hard over the last couple of months considering the amount of new technology being released.
