It has been almost eight months since Telltale grabbed gamers by the throat with its first episodic release of The Walking Dead, and now everything is coming to a thrilling climax with the final episode, "No Time Left." The season finale concludes the story arc of Lee and Clementine, along with their exhausted band of allies, as they eke out a terrifying existence amongst the undead.
Based on my personal experience playing the Steam version, The Walking Dead is by far the only adventure game series that's so emotionally absorbing I can say that it's gut-wrenchingly on par with the comic book that it's based on. I can only hope that both Lee and Clementine live to survive this, but hope, as it turns out, is not exactly a rich commodity in the game. With such a rabid following, Telltale certainly is not going to stop with just one season. As Telltale's Steve Allison puts it: "this will not be the last The Walking Dead game series that we do." Finish your personal The Walking Dead story with Episode Five: No Time Left when it's released on November 21.
