John McAfee Suspected of Murder
Security software founder John McAfee is wanted and reportedly on the run for murder charges. McAfee is a prime suspect in the murder of Gregory Faull, an American expatriate who was shot in his home on the island of Ambergis Caye. McAfee and Faull were on bad terms and argued over multiple issues. Last week, Faull had gone as far as to file a complaint against McAfee for firing off weapons and their latest dispute was about dogs. McAfee's status currently involves police raids, drugs, and even firearms. McAfee is said to have been posting on drug-related Russian forums about his drug abuse, namely bath salts, calling it "super perv powder." He then goes on to say that the most effective way of taking a dose is through rectal insertion, or "plugging."
However, other sources are claiming that McAfee may have been framed. McAfee's explanation for going into hiding in Belize is that he believes the authorities there are trying to frame him for the murder of a neighbor. Belize police said Monday they were searching for McAfee as "a person of interest" in the murder investigation. It is not the first time that McAfee has drawn police attention - his premises were raided in May after he was accused of holding firearms, however most of the weapons found were licensed.
