For Apple fans hoping for a reasonable iPad mini price tag, the rumored retail amount for the baseline 16GB Wi-Fi only model begins at $329, not exactly in the same league as its direct competitors. It is also estimated that a 32GB model is priced at $429, while the 64GB version costs $529. Those looking for iPad minis with extra cellular connectivity may have to fork up an additional $130 on top of the Wi-Fi lineup, depending the selected storage capacity. The miniaturized lightweight iPad will reportedly come equipped with the Lightning connector, cameras on both sides, and a 7.85-inch display. When compared to Google's $199 Nexus 7 and Amazon's $159 Kindle Fire, Apple's speculated iPad mini pricing is not what you'd call cheap, but then again, the Cupertino-based company has never been known to offer bargain-bin prices. Apple's advantage however, lies in its near-omnipotent tablet dominance and its wealth of available iPad apps and entertainment offerings, something that its legion of loyal customers are likely to flock over to.
