Telltale Games has been very busy this year with The Walking Dead game, and has been on a roll with developing titles from popular licenses such as Back to the Future and the irreverently funny Sam & Max adventures. Another welcome addition is their upcoming adaptation based on Fables, a long-running comics series from DC's Vertigo imprint created by Bill Willingham. Fables thrusts familiar storybook characters into modern day New York City, and has been consistently well-praised since its 2002 release. We won't be playing Fables anytime soon though, as it was previously slated for an appearance at this year's E3 but didn't quite make it. A recently posted Tweet from Telltale could herald more upcoming good news on the game though. If Telltale sticks to Fables' roots, it may or may not have happy endings, but getting there is going to be a violent and funny ride.
