What's the greatest thing about playing a beautiful racing game on a PC? It always comes down to jaw-dropping visuals, and in this department Project CARS (Community Assisted Racing Simulator) delivers with flying colors whilst boasting realistic physics to boot. Slightly Mad Studios, the talented guys behind Need for Speed: Shift and Shift 2: Unleashed are helming Project CARS with funding driven primarily from the devs themselves and the community. The impressively gorgeous work-in-progress title has been available to members for over a year now, and constant collaboration between Slightly Mad and generous players have resulted in some regularly updated development builds that get improved upon with each new release. A console version is also in the works, with a possible 2013 release date. Want to get your hands on the latest build of the game and help out in making it even more awesome?
