Crytek Producer Mike Read has provided more details on two of Crysis 3's multiplayer modes, the Hunter Mode and Crash Site Mode. Hunter Mode focuses more on survival as two players begin as permanently cloaked stalkers armed with just a predator bow, and the opposing 14 players are cell troopers who must live through the onslaught. As each of the 14 cell troopers die they respawn as hunters, which will make for some intense firefights until the last trooper is shot down. In Crash Site Mode, players must capture an alien pod on a random location for 10 minutes while the other team tries to wrestle control for the downed capsule. Pingers will also be available in Crash Site Mode, and opposing players can either destroy the three-legged behemoths or jump on top to forcefully eject the current pilot. Crytek also added social media into the mix with New York Feed, which creates a city map that highlights information from fellow Crysis players including achievements. Crysis 3 comes out on the PC and consoles on February 2013.
