G.Skill announced that a pair of Russian overclockers representing team OCLab.ru, Slamms and Smoke, have set a new world record in SuperPi 32M using G.Skill RipjawsX memory. The RipjawsX were paired with an Intel i7 3770K on an Asus Maximus V Extreme motherboard. The memory was overclocked to a speed of 6931MHz and achieved a SuperPi 32M time of 4m 44.609s. This beat the previous record by just over 100ms at memory speeds just under 100MHz over the previous record holder. With this latest entry, G.Skill products are now responsible for eight out of the top ten rankings for SuperPi 32M on HWBot.
