The mobile phone market is largely dominated by the ARM family of processors due to excellent energy efficiency and power. A new phone from Motorola, the RAZR i, will be powered by an Intel Atom processor which will run at 2 GHz, making it the fastest smartphone on the market. In addition to the speedy processor, the phone will also feature an 8-megapixel camera and a 4.3-inch Super AMOLED screen. Unfortunately, Motorola has only announced plans to release the phone in Europe and Latin America in October, but hasn't explicitly ruled out a United States release. No word on price or expected battery life was available.
