Getting tired of the usual plastic or aluminum-based keyboards? French-based Orée's exquisite hand-crafted keyboards might do the trick. It doesn't come cheap at $164, but what you'll be getting is a minimalist keyboard hand-carved out of either maple or walnut wood with components that are built to be durable and reliable, so splinters shouldn't be a problem. You'll also be able to customize the keyboard layout with font options for Fedra, Mrs Eaves or Didot, whichever strikes your font fancy. The Orée Board runs wirelessly on Bluetooth with a pair of AAA batteries, which should be enough to last for months of uninterrupted operation.

Such a same it is a tiny laptop size, a luxury product should be the full thing (and use a wire too).
