Black Mesa Arrives at Long Last

The long wait is finally over, as Black Mesa has arrived. This free mod remakes the first Half-Life game in the Source engine, and does a masterful job at it, too. The Xen levels are not included in the initital release, but will be added in later. It was done this way so we can finally experience Black Mesa, although I am sure some will wait until everything is available. You can download Black Mesa from a variety of mirror sites, but earlier today demand was so great that many were unavailable. Everything should be cleared up by now, so you can select from any number of mirrors to begin the 3.8GB download. All you need to run Black Mesa is the Source SDK Base 2007 available with any Source game on Steam, so there really is no reason to not grab this mod.
