Epic Opens New Seattle Studio to Focus on Unreal Engine 4

Epic Games has announced the formation of a new studio in Seattle, Washington, with a primary focus on Unreal Engine 4, at least starting off. The studio is looking to hire senior-level programmers, engineers, and developers to help make UE4 even more impressive. Seattle is a prime spot for a studio, especially when you consider all the other tech and video game companies in the Pacific Northwest. According to Epic Games President Dr. Michael Capps:

The proximity to key partners, the density of world-class talent and all the factors that make Seattle an attractive place to live convinced us that it is the perfect locale for Epic’s West Coast operation. We are looking to hire even more of the best engineers around to contribute to Unreal Engine 4, which we believe is set to change the way we all make games.

The first Unreal Engine 4 game will be next year's Fortnite. Epic's Seattle studio should help push the engine to a new degree of jaw-dropping beauty, which is something we are all waiting to see.
