Escape Mode Trailer Debuts for Aliens: Colonial Marines

Gearbox Software had been teasing a new video for Aliens: Colonial Marines all week on Facebook, and today has delivered it at last. The video shows off the game's Escape competitive mulitplayer mode, where you can choose to be either a Marine or a Xenos. The four Marines must fight their way through four Xenos and escape using all the tactics they can. Doors can be welded shut, barricades can be built, and turrets can be deployed in an effort to make it out alive. The four Xenos on the other hand, simply have to prevent the Marines from escaping. Some of the types are on display in this trailer, like the Xeno Soldier, Xeno Lurker, which is the fastest in agility and speed, and the Xeno Spitter, which can spit acid over long distances. The Escape mode looks to be pretty hectic and full of tension, especially if there are plenty of areas for the Xenos to hide.

Can the Marines survive long enough to escape? We will all find out on February 12, 2013, when Aliens: Colonial Marines arrives on the PC, PS3, and 360.

what on August 31, 2012 03:56AM Boring adverts trying to use story line to drive a possible multiplayer experience, lame i am embarassed for them. All they need are some people on voice comms screaming stuff at eachother and having fun. Then im sold. reply to this
