Sony keeps adding more and more fighters to the upcoming PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale, as the studio unveiled Raiden earlier today. Gamers will be in for a treat as the Metal Gear series' cyborg ninja makes his fighting game debut. Sony has opted for the Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance version of Raiden for PlayStation All-Stars, which means gamers get to see him months before the former's release. Raiden is a close-range fighter, as his blade and cybernetic abilities are sure to prove challenging for any foe. A large number of combos is at Raiden's disposal, with the ability to start or stop on the ground or mid-air. Combatants looking to interupt the combos may have a hard time doing so, as a variety of reverse stabs and parries can be unleashed to keep a combo active. Once you have built up to a super attack, the right analog stick is used to slice and dice others to edge your way closer to a victory.
A new stage was also revealed for PlayStation All-Stars, as Ape Escape's Time Station adds some old-school flair. The Time Station served as Ape Escape's central hub, but now it is the newest battleground for Sony's brawler. Just watch out for Specter in the background, as he can and will cause mayhem for any combatant. Both Raiden and the Time Station were mentioned in the beta leak, so it will be interesting to see what other confirmations come from that. PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale arrives on November 20 for the PS3 and PS Vita.
