The Walking Dead: Episode Three Finally Gets a Release Date

Grab your virtual survival gear and get ready for the zombie apocalypse once more, as Telltale's third episode for The Walking Dead series is now locked in for a solid release date. The Walking Dead: Episode Three - Long Road Ahead is coming out as a digital download August 29th on Steam, Origin, Amazon PC Downloads, along with XBLA. The PlayStation Network gets an earlier release date of August 28. What's gotten fans in such a frenzy about the horror/adventure game is best summed up by series creator Robert Kirkman: "The Walking Dead game from Telltale set out from the start to make you sad." Most games focused more on keeping players entertained with fun gameplay, but The Walking Dead struck a sensitive chord in player's heartstrings by providing some really emotional choices - and with some devastating consequences that carries well over into subsequent episodes. Who lives and dies in Episode Three?
