You may have heard of a little game called Journey. It was PlayStation Network's fastest-selling game ever in both the SCEA and SCEE regions. It also enjoyed a 92 on Metacritic. Developed by thatgamecompany, Journey is a rather unique game that received most of its praise for its beautiful visuals and musical score. Soon there will be another way for you to enjoy those beautiful visuals – The Art of Journey, an art book designed and written by Matt Nava, art director on Journey. "The Art of Journey will come bound as an embossed hardcover book filled with gorgeous concept art, intricate pencil drawings, and 3D models printed in full color on art-quality paper." There will also be a section containing some of Matt's favorite fan art, as well as a rather unique "augmented reality" feature, powered by the Daqri 4D platform, wherein readers can utilize a free companion app on their smartphone or tablet to see animated 3D models straight from the game. Lastly, if you're one of those gamers that really enjoyed the musical score, you're in luck – The Art of Journey will be accompanied with a voucher for a free download of the game's soundtrack to your PS3.

The Art of Journey will be available for purchase in September. If you haven't played the game, the Journey Collector's Edition, which also contains thatgamecompany's first two games, flOw and Flower, is hitting store shelves tomorrow for $29.99.
