A little over a week ago, I reported that THQ's community manager Mathew Everett apologized for missing features in the PC version of Darksiders II and promised that "proper teams" were working on patching them back in. A second PC patch, going live soon, is the first step in doing just that (the first one simply fixed some crash-on-startup issues). Along with your typical crash and bug fixes, PC Patch #2 fixes the v-sync option so it's actually functional, correctly saves video settings to Steam Cloud, makes it so Reaper Form triggers correctly when using a keyboard, and aligns Target Reticules properly at all screen resolutions. In addition, the Key Bindings option can now be accessed directly from the Pause Menu. Still a far cry from what was initially promised to PC gamers, but at least THQ is still committed to making it right.
Patches for the PS3 and 360 are also arriving soon.
