Official mod tools for The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings is on the way, but so far CD Projekt RED has not talked much about them. During Gamescom it held a closed door showing of the REDkit, and now the studio has released a video of the mod tools and a little of the convention. The main attraction is everything the REDkit will allow modders to add to The Witcher 2, and it certainly does not disappoint. The tools are designed to be very user friendly, with new worlds and areas created in mere moments. New adventures can be developed, new items can be added, and pretty much anything else will be possible once the REDkit is available. The only downside to all of this is CD Projekt will not have the tools ready until next year, but the company is still accepting beta testers until September 30. There are also job openings to work on The Witcher and Cyberpunk, so feel free to hit up the CD Projekt website to see if there is a match. You do need to move to Warsaw, Poland, if accepted, but the studio is offering a relocation package for those willing.
