The calendar keeps moving towards September 18 and the launch of Borderlands 2, a day where many people could call in sick. Gearbox has declared the PC version of the game will not be a port and even Claptrap wrote a letter listing all the PC-exclusive features of Borderlands 2. In an effort to further drive the point home the PC version is not a port, Gearbox (via Gamespy) has revealed a series of screenshots of the game's menu. The images are not the largest in the world, but you can still make out the plethora of menu options to adjust. Weapon aim toggle, UI sway, and minimap rotation are some of the convenience features, while others are more exciting.
Borderlands 2 will allow for various graphics options like FXAA, depth of field, PhysX effects, field of view, and more to be adjusted. Mouse smoothing can be disabled, as can aim assist. One of the more curious options is the framerate, which is set to "Unlimited" in the screenshot and all but guarantees no FPS cap. The game will also make use of Steam's matchmaking feature to allow friends an easier time of getting into a server. So, have you pre-ordered the PC version yet?
