Massive Battles and Creepy Businessmen Featured in New XCOM: Enemy Unknown Trailer

Firaxis is hard at work on XCOM: Enemy Unknown, the RTS remake of the classic series. Recently the studio discussed the multiplayer aspect of the game and today a new trailer has emerged that shows off the battles in XCOM: Enemy Unknown. A massive amount of lasers are fired off during the fighting, each with different colors and particle effects. The trailer is predominantly CGI, however there are a few small snippets of gameplay included. Regardless, the aliens and creatures we will be facing in XCOM: Enemy Unknown look impressive, but the businessmen that crawl along the ground and vomit black goop at you are a little creepy. Any troops you lose in battle will be gone permantently, so try to avoid the aliens and businessmen as much as possible.

XCOM: Enemy Unknown arrives on October 9 for the PC, PS3, and 360.
