Borderlands: Origins Comic Explores the Beginnings of the Vault Hunters

Borderlands 2 is fast approaching release and while many people are gearing up for that, this bit of news concerns something from the first game. When Borderlands 1 opens, the four Vault Hunters are on a bus to Fyrestone to begin the quest to find the Vault. The four are friends, obviously, but have you ever wondered what brought them together in the first place? A new comic book series looks to answer just that as Borderlands: Origins has been announced for a November launch. The original writer of Borderlands, Mikey Neumann, is working on the comic, which will feature canonic origin stories of the four Vault Hunters. Borderlands: Origins is planned as a four-issue set comprising 32 pages, with the first covering the soldier Roland and what exactly made him leave the Crimson Lance.
