Earlier this month CD Projekt RED announced official mod tools are on the way for The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings. Dubbed the REDkit, the tools will allow prospective modders to add whatever they like to The Witcher 2, from non-linear adventures to locations, items, and more. Over the weekend, CD Projekt posted an application page for users to sign up and beta test the REDkit. Modders will need to provide a link to samples of their work for the studio to check out, but that can be pulled from any site you have your mod hosted at. The application page for the closed beta will run through September 30, so you have plenty of time to perfect your mods.
