Half-Life 3 to Make an Appearance at Gamescom?

We have yet to hear anything solid about Half-Life 3, but if the Gamescom product list is any indication, Valve's widely popular FPS sequel will be making an appearance at the convention. Gamescom has listed the game amongst other titles such as Bioware's Dragon Age 3, but the organizers caution people that it takes "no responsibility for the correctness of this information," so this may very well turn out to be simply a typo on the website. Still, Valve is scheduled to show up at the event in Cologne which starts tomorrow, although it's been mentioned to be a more private meeting with not many spectators. Several supposedly leaked photos of Half-Life 3 surfaced earlier this year illustrating Alyx dressed for cold weather, although nothing substantial came from it as yet. Perhaps we're looking at glimpses of Half-Life 2: Episode 3 instead? In any case, we'll find out more as Gamescom unfolds from August 15-19.
