Thief 4 Reportedly Pushed Back to Release on Next Generation Consoles
The news on Thief 4 seems to verge between rumor and brief hints, and this one concerns the former. According to a report, Thief 4 has been pushed back to release on the next generation consoles, but that will only be until late next year when the Next Xbox arrives. This should be welcome news for many, although it also means Thief 4 will have been in development for quite a while. The game was originally announced back in 2009, and ever since Eidos Montreal has remained pretty quiet on where Thief 4 sits. There have been rumors, sure, like an apparent trailer being shown and even a developer saying the last level was completed. Eidos has also been hit by some departures, which undoubtedly pushes back development on any title. Despite all of this, if Thief 4 arrives next year in time for the holidays, it will be a very welcomed gift.
