Shadowy Gotham City Mod Turns GTA: San Andreas into Batman's Playground

What's it like playing a horned vigilante gliding through the moonlit rooftops of Gotham City? Most of us already know how that feels like, thanks to Rocksteady's awesome Arkham Asylum and Arkham City titles, but we have yet to immerse ourselves in a game that truly captures the spirit of Christopher Nolan's recently concluded Batman trilogy. Enter one modder's brilliantly conceived re-imagining of Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, now transformed into everyone's favorite corrupted city of Gotham. The completely overhauled game appears to be largely inspired by Nolan's version of the Caped Crusader and his gritty home town, gadgets, Batcave and Tumbler included. You could even cruise through the mean streets of Gotham with the Batpod, so what's not to like? Dig out that old copy of GTA: San Andreas you've got hidden somewhere, fire up the free Gotham City mod, and step into the stealthy shoes of the Dark Knight.
