It was just the other day when Bethesda's Pete Hines said The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim: Dawnguard had not been announced for any other platform. Today Pete Hines has a little more information by saying there will be news on the PC and PS3 versions of Dawnguard "later this week." Nothing has been announced just yet, but at least we should not have too long to go before hearing when to expect Dawnguard. The 1.7.7 patch for Skyrim officially released today on the PC, which should be setting the game up for the DLC. One of the fixes addresses a Dawnguard-specific addition, and while the patch will also be arriving on consoles, the fact it is included is a positive sign for the release of Dawnguard on the PC. The end of the week should certainly prove interesting, and I just hope the DLC is here before long.
