Every PC and PlayStation 3 owner of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim have been waiting patiently for the release of Dawnguard on their respective platform. The first DLC for Skyrim had a 30 day exclusive window on the Xbox 360, which has since expired. Many thought the expiration would bring Dawnguard to the other systems right away, but so far nothing definitive has been said on the subject. Bethesda's VP of marketing, Pete Hines, recently tweeted that Dawnguard has not been announced for any platform other than the Xbox 360, but that does not mean it will never come to the PC and PS3. Hines was understandably hit with a wave of frustration on Twitter, but clarified expecting Dawnguard by now is "unfounded" without any news before. It should take some time to make sure everything in Dawnguard works just fine on the PC and PS3, so since Bethesda has remained quiet on the matter means there is no news to report. Hines will relay that information when there is something to report, so for now, do not worry that Dawnguard is not here yet. I imagine there will be news soon, and when that happens you can hear about it here.
