Darksiders II Gameplay Trailer Launches

The Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse are meant to be feared. War, Famine, Pestilence, and Death are not exactly the harbingers of good tidings, and this is exemplified in the Darksiders games. The first Darksiders let us control War, and Darksiders II puts us in control of Death, the most feared of all the Horsemen. A new gameplay trailer has launched for Darksiders II to show just why Death is the most feared, and he is not someone you want to cross. Death is, oddly enough, the last hope of humanity in Darksiders II, as he has to put an end to the war between the angels and demons. Death is the only one able to undo humanity's extinction, but he will have to go through a lot to undo it. War makes an appearance in the trailer, however it may not be in a way you would expect. There is plenty more to check out in the trailer, from huge enemies and intense battles to glimpses of combat on horseback.

Darksiders II arrives on August 14th for the PC, PS3, and 360. A Wii U version will arrive once that console launches.
