Portal 2's Space Core Heads to Spaaaaaaace!

Portal 2 has many memorable characters and lines of dialog, but soon it will have an achievement few other games can match. A NASA technician laser-etched a picture of Portal 2's space core onto a panel for the Japanese HTV-3 resupply craft heading to the International Space Station. Portal 2's space core really will be "in spaaaaaaace!" at long last. It is pretty sweet when you consider it, but laser-etching a video game character does not have an official NASA endorsement so the technician will have to remain anonymous. If the space core actually were going to space, it would probably explode from sheer excitement. Good thing it is just a laser-etching on the resupply craft then.
