Amnesia: A Machine for Pigs Release Date Slides Back to 2013
The spine-tingling follow up to Amnesia: The Dark Descent won't be scaring the pants out of PC gamers this year, as Amnesia: A Machine for Pigs will remain under development until 2013. Set in Victorian London 60 years after the horrific events of Dark Descent, the sequel was initially planned for a timely Halloween release. "The quality of the game is the absolute first, last, and always with this development," remarked thechineseroom's creative director Dan Pinchbeck of the title's delay. The game apparently would have still made a 2012 release date, but Pinchbeck notes that it "could do with a few more months' work." While we're all for seeing the game in all its horrific (and bug-free) glory next year, a few more eerie glimpses similar to last month's teaser wouldn't hurt, either. "We'll definitely have more to show in the not too distant future," assured Pinchbeck.
