Patriot has announced a new limited edition series of memory based on the Intel Extreme Masters, a worldwide gaming series that has featured games such as StarCraft 2 and Counter-strike. The new DDR3 memory is certified for Intel XMP 1.3 and will be available in frequencies of 1600MHz, 1866MHz, and 2133MHz. The heat spreader is the same that is found on the Viper 3 series of memory and features the Intel Extreme Masters logo. Dual and quad channel kits will be available in capacities of 8GB, 16GB, and 32GB. There is a tremendous amount of enthusiasm on both sides with Johnny Neang, Marketing Director at Patriot, stating “we’ve designed these kits so gamers can unlock the full potential of Intel’s® 2nd or 3rd generation Core™ processors for incredible in game performance.” Director of Pro Gaming at Turtle Entertainment GmbH Michal Blicharz added "Intel® Extreme Masters branded memory takes our cooperation with Patriot Memory to the next level."
